The birth flowers

The January birth flower is the carnationLike the slow beauty of winter, the carnation reveals its color with a subtle grace and rewards close, attentive viewing. The carnation is a rich and fragrant flower, a sensual feast perfect for birthdays during this winter month.

The February birth flower is the IrisThe deep, warm color of the iris foreshadows the luxuries of spring. A February birthday also portends warmth and prosperity, making these two an excellent match. Match a lucky February birthday with this slender, magnificent flower.

The March birth flower is the DaffodilThe appearance of daffodils in the spring has long been associated with rays of sunshine emanating from the ground, bringing color, comfort, and beauty back to the world. March birthdays also add comfort and beauty to our lives, so celebrate this month with the daffodil’s fragrant sunshine blossom.

The April birth flower is the DaisyThe modest, unassuming beauty of the daisy has a playful, childlike character that brings joy and happiness wherever it arrives. The many colored options of the daisy provide ample opportunity to match this lovely flower to a specific personality. No other flower can match the daisy for pure joy.

The May birth flower is the LilyThe subtle, majestic lily holds its delicate white blossoms snugly between its strong, broad leaves. This flower represents the both the strength and wild beauty in May birthdays. A fresh bouquet of lilies is a magnificent way to send your best, birthday wishes.

The June birth flower is the RoseJune must be the month of love, as it has been paired with the flower of passion, the rose. Roses have many significant meanings depending on their color and the number of flowers in the bouquet. June birthdays are also known for their passion, making June and the rose a perfect match.

The July birth flower is LarkspurThe long, blossom filled stem of the larkspur has been chosen to represent July because their gorgeous and lush beauty fills summer meadows with an unmistakable color and fragrance. July birthdays are also known for their particular summer radiance.

The August birth flower is the GladiolaThe sword like blossoms of the gladiola are responsible for its name and also for its symbolic meaning of strength of character. August birthdays are also known for a strong sense of character and moral integrity. The gladiola also reminds us that strength of character and integrity can look gorgeous and be full of rich personality.

The September birth flower is the AsterThe dense petal formation of the beautiful aster allows its rich, deep color to radiate through with a lush, almost aquatic texture. This combination makes the aster the flower of magic and transcendence. September, the beginning of Autumn, is also a time of otherworldly transcendence, and September birthdays contain elements of seeing aspects of life often hidden from view.

The October birth flower is CalendulaThe brilliant and unusual calendula represents October birthdays because its broad, colorful flowers follow the path of the sun throughout the day, soaking up all remaining sunlight left in Autumn. October birthdays are also known for being warm, receptive people who are easy going and easy to talk to. Celebrate their one of a kind beauty with the one of a kind calendula.

The November birth flower is the ChrysnthemumThe bright butter yellow glow of the chrysanthemum brings joy, light, and cheer to the dwindling days of November. Chosen because of the cheer and joy November birthdays bring throughout the year, the chrysanthemum’s color and perseverance are a beacon of happiness.

The December birth flower is the NarcissusThe translucent white petals of the narcissus blossom bring the beauty and peace of a fresh snowfall indoors. The grace and sophistication of the narcissus bring a redemptive beauty to poor Narcissus, the mythological figure that fell in love with his own beauty and drowned kissing his reflection in a lake. Now, the narcissus represents peace and the possibility of renewal.

No Sweat

Today?s miracle sweat-wicking micro-fibers hide a dirty little secret that serious athletes know about. They?re great at wicking away moisture. But they embed perspiration residue deep into the fabric. The result: musty, stubborn sweat odors that linger no matter how hard you try to get them out.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A is an highly contagious liver infection because of hepatitis A virus (HAV)Although this is not serious, not like other viral hepatitis. Hepatitis A possibly resulted inflammation that affects the functioning of our liver.Large numbers of people get the virus after drinking contaminated water because, in many parts of the world, drinking water is contaminated with raw sewage. The virus also may be spread by eating uncooked food (such as raw shellfish) and unpeeled fruits and vegetables washed in contaminated water.
Many people with HAV infection have no symptoms at all. Sometimes symptoms are so mild that they go unnoticed. Older people are more likely to have symptoms than children. People who do not have symptoms can still spread the virus.
Symptoms of hepatitis A usually develop between 2 and 6 weeks after infection. The symptoms are usually not too severe and go away on their own, over time. The most common symptoms are as follows:

Symptoms usually last less than two months, although they may last as long as nine months. About 15% of people infected with hepatitis A have symptoms that come and go for 6-9 months. Hepatitis does not occur simply from being near someone who has the disease at work or at school.
If you can't have the best of what you want, learn to make the best of what you have. A vision without action is a daydream; an action without a vision is a nightmare. Happy people are those who don't have many things in life, but they know how to make the best of the few things they have. Good Morning!

Upload Pictures Free Helps Individual's Finances

Just like an ordinary single mother, I handled all the roles at home. I find it very difficult sometimes in budgeting, since I am the only breadwinner in the family, but even though the situation is like this I’m glad that I set myself free from any credit obligations, and till now I manage very well my obligations to my children, as well as the expenses in our daily lives..

I’m very much concerned having bills to pay. It makes me sometimes worried and think if one day as I wake up and see no more drops of water anymore and the lights off all the time and I think it is normal for me but I am not going to let it happen. As far as finances are concern, I handed it very well.

It is good that there’s BillsIQ at Bills.Com. And I got the score of 89%. Not bad I think the score I got, and it sounds great because of the personal tips and advises regarding our finances.

After answering those questions, I am very happy to learn more about Debt consolidation, about how to be in Debt relief, and how we can get Debt help.

Good budgeting helps us to solve problems when it comes to money problems. Avoid buying unnecessary things and settle things which are necessarily important.

We all are soldiers of GOD. So when you feel tired, wounded and weak, don't give up. The battle is at it's peak. And in GOD'S lead, we always find victory.

Heavy rains remind me of challenges in life. Never ask for lighter rain, just a better umbrella.

Don't believe a word, a promise till it's done right before your eyes, but keep on believing, still a choice

Who knows what we live, and struggle, and die? Wise men write many books, in words too hard to understand. But this, the purpose of our lives, the end of all struggle, is beyond all human wisdom.

It's hard to choose someone to love, but the hardest part of loving is to admit that you have fallen in love with someone you didn't mean to love from the start.

Peace not War!

Government authorities should continue to hold out hopes for a peace settlement, but our government should not negotiate from a position of weakness. The message of the government to these criminal groups and to the MILF should be: “We can crush you, but we would rather settle matters with you according to prescribed legal processes.”

Those of us, however, who are not fighting the war, whether we are Christians or Muslims, should continue to strive to live in harmony with each other. There is a real danger that the fighting in Mindanao will alienate Christians from Muslims also in Luzon and the Visayas. That would be truly tragic. We should not allow the actions of some criminal Muslim elements in Mindanao to make us prejudge and regard even peaceful Muslims living in our midst as threats to our well-being. If that should happen, we will be preparing our erstwhile peaceful territories for a repeat of the Mindanao situation.

The Muslims living in Metro Manila, for example, are not aggressors. Though they belong to the same Islamic faith as the perpetrators of atrocities in Mindanao, they are not necessarily allies of those criminals. We have seen on TV how, time and again, Muslims in different parts of the world have disowned the criminal acts of Muslim extremists. I believe that Muslims living here in Luzon do not approve of the killings and pillage done by their fellow Muslims. Let us continue to demonstrate that Christians and Muslims can live together in peace, as we have been doing here in Metro Manila. That too is a big help towards settling the Mindanao war.

Crossing the line

Do you have in this personality, shy or timid person? Or are you just like this, Are You Normal or Nuts?

We need sometimes little quirks, it relieves for ourselves from the boredom of our life. Quirk also helps us also to see the line that divides us from madness to good sense. It doesn’t mean to display madness is bad at all. We need to display it a little bit in order to keep us our self in good sense. Now I know where my personal characteristics belong. And I’m very glad I found this article Are You Normal or Nuts?

There are some quirks that need professional attention. Just like any person who is afraid to go in high places. They are afraid that they might fall down, and if they attempt to jump, they are afraid to jump that they might broke their feet or maybe they're going to land in the hospital.

Why don’t you try to read Reader's Digest Laughs? We need to laugh; don’t you know that laughter is the best medicines? We have to understand that sometimes it’s good to share to everyone if we act nuts and Reader's Digest knows best.

There are some reason why we are vomiting. The reason is we have stomach irritation and it is also possible that we have this: gastritis, gastroenteritis, peritonitis, appendicitis, ulcers (gastric and duodenal), tonsilitis (especially for kids). Motion sickness, head injury, meningitis, fever, whopping cough, pregnancy (morning sickness) and deliberate vomiting,
Avoid eating solid foods in which you think that this can cause you to vomit. Drink plenty of fluids , diluted milk but not aerated or alcoholic drinks. Take 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda melted in one glass of water or milk that holds in vomiting.
After vomiting rest for about 30 minutes before taking semi solid foods such as soups, custards and etc. Then back to normal diets after 3 or 4 days.

The power of prayer!

A sailor was stuck in an island where he was the only survivor. He made a hut for his shelter, day and night and every minute he's praying, hoping, waiting that someday someone come and rescue him. But one day his hut burned to ashes and nothing was left for it. He was shouting and angrily cried and said, "God, what have you done for me?! You don't hear all my petitions? Until he got sleep blaming God of what had happen to him. And as he woke up in the morning, he saw the rescuers is coming to his place. And then he asked the rescuers How did you know the I'm here?. They replied "we saw a smoke signal,"
In time like this, just trust Him when misfortunes happen in our life. His plans are greater than us. And everything happens in our life there is always a purpose, and the power of prayer will never leave you, even in the darkest times. It is the greatest weapon known to human kind, a freedom that no one can take it away from you.

My Victory Hair

Who’s that girl? I think it’s Aunt Merlyn but the hair is so good so straight, as my niece relay it to me because this month I went to salon to cut my hair. But the beautician suggested me to have it “relax or straighten” it due to my hair will fly away even if it is short. I ask her the cost and so she said that it’s just only half bucks of her price for that service because my hair is so thin. What I do is ask my daughter if she can sponsor me on my hair relax. I’m glad that she supported me financially and agreed on my decision.

I never regret of my new hair because I get everyone’s attention and praises that my hair fits to my face. As they said I look younger as compared to my previous hair because I used to pony tail my hair. And for this thing I achieved the Victory Hair, the greatest victory after having hair makeover. Take good care of your feet

Keep your feet clean and dry as often as possible. You should check your feet regularly for any abnormal color or skin problems. You should keep your feet moisturized with a good moisturizer so that you can keep the skin soft, moist and healthy. Pay close attention to any fungus that you find on your feet. If you do discover fungus on your feet a professional should take a look and recommend a treatment option.
If you take care of your feet they will take good care of you for many years to come. If you are not a doctor then do not try to be one, if you have a foot issue then see the right doctor so that they can fix you up.

Seafood Recipes

Being at home, cooking at home, are meant so much for all families. And I think everybody knows how to cook for we all know we eat three times a day. And it is known that some crave for seafood which is undeniably delicious and nutritious that is rich of iodine and it is very good for our health.

It is a fact that fish or seafood is better than meat because it gives more energy to our body. I love eating shrimps and I cook it in my own menu. I am fond of collecting seafood recipes since I’m in College and when I have internet connection at home I used to search in the net. While I was searching and surfing in the net I found that there is a cooking contest online which is called Great American Seafood Cook Off. Since my hobby is cooking I feel excited in this cooking contest this year 2008. I can learn and can be able to add their seafoods recipes in my collections that were cooked by an expert chef cook in the world. I vote the Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet by Chef Brian Landry because it is easy to cook and I anticipate that it is very delicious and it took only 15 minutes to cook, so easy! Take a glance at the Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet and vote for it because for me it is the best recipe.

To all mothers or housewives out there, why don’t you try to cook this recipe now? I’m sure this is the best food that you can serve to your children and to your husband. I’m sure your husband is going to give you an extra allowance for shopping, what do you think? It is very simple and very easy to cook. If you want to learn new recipes, switch to seafood recipe at

Challenges in Life!

All of us experience major and minor life challenges. How we handle these struggles on a daily basis determines our physical, as well as our mental well-being. It takes only a single event to convince us we have no control over our circumstances. . Our problems pressure us from every side, threatening to crush or break us. Life challenges enable us to see ourselves at our best and our worst. We may attempt to temporarily escape our circumstances, falling into alcohol or drug addiction. Others find themselves overwhelmed, and out control and try to commit suicide. We face our greatest life challenges when we struggle to find love, security, and assurance that life truly has meaning. When we develop a personal relationship with the One who created us, we discover how God wants us to respond in any given situation.
By placing our faith in God, we take our hands off our problems. “I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold” (Psalm 18:1-2). God gave us His Son, Jesus Christ, to reach beyond time, life’s challenges, and even death to save us.

Breastfeeding program

The Department of Health is calling to all parents to support the breastfeeding program of our government, particularly they are inviting the father to help organizing the Gold Standard on Infant Feeding. Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life will provides babies protection against diarrhea, pneumonia and improves a child's intelligence quotient. Breastfeeding also benefits mothers as it reduces bleeding after delivery, reduces cancer of the breast and ovaries, adding that breastfeeding also acts as a natural family planning method as it delays return fertility.

Comfrey (kompre)

Another herbal medicine that I've known and this is Comfrey. The scientific name is Symphylum Officinale. Comfrey is a perennial plant common in moist meadows and other moist places in the U.S. and Europe. The rootstock is black outside, fleshy and whitish inside, and contains a glutinous juice. The angular, hairy stem bears bristly, oblong lanceolate leaves, some petioled, some sessile. There are also tongue-shaped basal leaves that generally lie an the ground. The whitish or pale purple flowers have a tubular corolla resembling the finger of a glove and appear from May to August.
It has been used with benefit in cases of bronchitis and irritable cough, where it will soothe and reduce irritation whilst helping expectoration.
Comfrey may be used externally to speed wound-healing and guard against scar tissue developing incorrectly. Care should be taken with very deep wounds, however, as the external application of Comfrey can lead to tissue forming over the wound before it is healed deeper down, possibly leading to abscesses.
It may be used for any external ulcers, for wounds and fractures as a compress or poultice. It is excellent in chronic varicose ulcers.
It has a reputed anti-cancer action.

Thank You For The Blessings

Each day I should thank you Lord,

For all that you have done.

My life wouldn’t be the same,

If I turned and you were gone.

Some times I forget to say,
Thank you for this day.
And still you greatly bless me Lord,
In so many ways.

You’ve blessed me with a family,
That means so much to me.
We have a special bond of love
For all the world to see.

You’ve given me a place to live,
Where I lay my head each night.
Knowing your love is here with me,
Helps me sleep ‘til morning light.

You put the food upon my table,
That feeds this body of mine.
But the food you give my spirit,
Gives me strength for all time.

You’ve touched me in so many ways,
With Your precious healing hand.
And when I tell what You have done,
Some will not understand.

You provide me with my every need,
In this world in which I live.
Thank you for your love, dear Lord,
And for the Son that you did give.

Love changes everything!

Love changes us. The way we act, the way we think, and the way we decide. Sometimes we even go against our principles and beliefs in our life. Loving doesn't always mean we will be happy always. But we will soon realize that it is better if the person we love would be happy with someone else, than he is going to be lonely with you. And if we find ourself in love to someone else and he does not love us we are very gentle to handle it. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with us. Love just did not choose to rest in the other person's heart. There is a reason and a meaning, and we will know that in time. Agree with me?

What's Happening - August?

We each get bombarded with over 5,000 marketing messages each day ... to which do we pay attention? Our interest in major events and news determines where marketers go to place their messages.

Especially for you!

Happy Birthday # 26

Celebrate the beauty of your spirit. Embrace the dreams in your heart. Acknowledge the great joy you bring to the world. Realize just how much your life means to those around you.
birthday is a chance for us to start a new, to think about the thing's we've done. Just keep on smiling, God's loves you when you're happy. Have a great birthday SIS!

Parent's Responsibility

All parents want their children to be healthy. As elementary school aged children go through remarkable physical changes of all kinds, their food intake becomes a critical aspect of this growth and development. Recent research shows that nourishing food not only makes a child healthier, it makes him emotionally more stable, and it improves school performance. It appears then that paying attention to our children's diets pays high dividends. If only our children thought so, too! Because children tend to rank their parents' views on food along with their unpopular views on curfews, rock music, hair styles, etc., it is up to the parents to, first of all, be clever about insinuating nutritious foods into the family menus and, secondly, take a reasonable but hard line when other approaches fail.

It's Sunday morning!

God created us with his hands. He is the potter, and we are the clay. Good morning to one of God's creation!

Morning's are reminders that God loves you!. You're not just given another day to enjoy but a chance to right the wrong of yesterday!

God smiled at me just this morning thru the rising sunrays. I'm sharing the same courtesy with you by sending you a warm smile that you your heart can feel even without seeing.

God's Blessing

God wants to give you your hearts desire. He wants to bless you with great spiritual and material things. The problem with most people is that they aren’t ready spiritually to receive material blessings. Most people today couldn’t handle the blessing that God has for them. Here is why. If God were to give you your material blessing today, it would end up ruling you, and you would most likely make God second in your life, or turn away from him completely. If you want material blessings from God, you must be spiritually mature. So, instead of asking God for material things, ask him for more of Him. Ask God to fill you with his Spirit and to lead you to spiritual maturity. When you are spiritually mature, everywhere you go, every hour of the day, you are thinking about God. He is number one in your life and you live to be a blessing to him. When you wake, you’ve got God; When you are at work, you’ve got God; When you are with your worst enemy, you’ve got God; When you are in the deepest part of your trial, you’ve got God: And, when you lay your head down at night, you’ve got God. When you are spiritually mature, you are always thinking about the soul of the person you are with. A spiritually mature person is a truly righteous person. So ask God for more of him, and your material blessings will follow. And I really thank God for all the blessings He has given to me.
