When we talk about "child rights", the things most likely to come to mind are security, education, health care and proper nutrition. And while these rights are essential to a child's well being, another right is the the right to play.
Play is essential for children to develop mentally, physically, and socially. In times of crisis, playing can help children recover from emotional stress. Yet many children are denied a chance to play because of situations beyond their control.
