A mind for Mush

Why do women so often remember emotional events than men? New research suggests, its partly biological. Women's brains maybe hardwired to both experience and recall more vividly. Scientists at Stanford did brain scan on 12 men and 12 women, as they viewed nearly 100 images from neutral ones of a landscape to more evocative one of a dead body. The subjects were later tested on which images they remembered. The two groups scored about the same on the neutral images, but women were likelier to recall dramatic ones.
Seeing the images and encoding the memories activated two parts of the brain in men and nine in women, suggesting the process is more complex in women. I guess this gives excuse to men if they forget their "anniversary".
