Fate

By some mischief of fate, we might only truly fall in love once. You know that one great love old folks refer to. Many lovers may get into our lives but there is only one person with that one smile, one kiss, one hug and one moment, that our hearts will never replace. That person, usually but sadly, is the one that got away. That's after all the chips are down, we know, we just know, we'll never fall in love that way again.

College - University: Let's Attend Survey

We should aim for our future and so we must go to school. Education is important in our living.

The Shadow On Me

It was cold and dark outside, as the rain began to splash unto the roof, I was tempted to listen. While listening the splashing rain and blowing of the wind. The sky turned very dark and like a sudden flash of light hit in the sky, and the thunder just like a roaring lion. I was alone in this place, with no one to talk to. Why am I here in this place? Simply, to ease this piercing pain in my heart, and to pick up the pieces of me. Yes, I was broken-hearted then. But after a moment of reminiscing, I look up and smiled - what a nice night to start life again.

Destiny

When people walk away from you, let them go. Your destiny is never tied to anybody who leaves you. And it doesn't mean that they are bad persons, it just means that their part in the story is over. No one in this world can dictate to you where you can be happy, if you know where and what it is, go for it. Just remember: Happiness is not a destiny, it's a choice.

The Greatest Mistake

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love. They try to possess it, they demand, they expect. Just like the river spilling out of their hands, love will flow from you, for love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If you love someone, allow him/her to be a free being. Give, but don't expect. Advise, but don't order. Ask, but never demand. It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice.

Drift

Have you ever felt the pain of wanting things to be the same?
The harder the two of you hold on, the faster it dies.
Beneath the smile and laughter, bitter pain is disguised
The roaring waves of the crashing sea
With our hands intertwined I hold on to you and you on to me.
But no matter how hard we try, our hands begin to slip
The sea carries one to land the other to ship.
The tears of a love lost drifts with the sea
With the painful realization that sometimes
no matter how hard you try, it's just not meant to be.

Who are the real losers?

Getting indulge with people in our everyday life is an inevitable opportunity. Have you ever heard of a lion and a deer living together? That would be a suicide for a deer, and a great luck for the lion. Yes, what I am saying to say is our society. People indeed have different personalities, family backgrounds, interests and beliefs. When you get in contact with a person, you could never figure out those who are totally worth your time and trust.

Love is an Inevitable Feeling

No one really plans to whom she wants to give her love to. Nobody wanted to love someone who doesn't recognize her, but still she continued loving him despite the odds. Nobody wants to fall in love with someone who keeps pushing her away when all she wanted to do is to be close to him. And nobody wants to fall in love with someone who is already owned by somebody else. These are some of the common proofs that love indeed inevitable.

Live today like there's no tomorrow. Get the most out of life, enjoy it.

A Painful Rescue

One of the most powerful images of my children came when they are playing in some woods behind our home. They stepped into a nest of ground bees. As the bees began to swarn ans sting, they began to scream for help. Suddenly, out of nowhere just like a superwoman, I cam and crashing through the woods, leaping over fallen logs, hurdling vines and bushes. I swooped up their arms and tore through the woods at full speed to get away from the bees. As I ran, the branches hit my legs, and thorns grabbed at their clothes and skin. The rescue hurt, but it was better than the bees.

Loving person

I think the loving person must return to spontaneity, return to touching each other, to holding each other, to smiling at each other, to thinking of each other, to caring about each other. You know anybody is free who wants to hug me, and I won't disintegrate. Hugs are good, they feel nice, and if you don't believe it, try it.

My Genuine And Prosperous Happy New Year

Every one of us has different experiences, during the past years and the coming New Year. I considered year 2007 is the worst year I ever had. Problems always occur, financially, physically and spiritually. But God is always there for me. In this year 2008 I am now totally spiritually grown up. I have a dominance of peace rather than fear, I depend of God's provision, I have a direction of purpose than wandering to elsewhere, and deliverance from pleasure than to God's service.

De-stress your road to success

Remember that laughter is still the best medicine. Whenever things get stressful at work, I like to survey the situation and realize how funny things are when viewed from a different perspective. Then, I laugh it all off! Also, reading a silly text message or catching an improve group at a comedy club are other easy ways to lighten up. Also hug someone you love. The best things in life are free, and a hug is one also of the best stress-busters. I feel the stress melt away in the arms of my children, brothers, sisters, and my grand daughter.

Too Tense?

Try these chill-out now tricks before you hit overload.
  1. Dial a pal - A good convo with a friend produces oxytocin, a hormone that has been shown to lower stress and calm the body.
  2. Breathe Deeply - Lie down with one hand on your stomach. Each time you breathe in, imagine a balloon filling with air as your hand slowly rises. Once you nail the technique, do it standing up. Try to breathe like this for 10 minutes at some point during everyday.
  3. Have a Laugh - Laughing will reduce stress levels and boost immune function.
  4. Press an Acupressure Point - Gently rub the pressure point in the skin between your thumb and forefinger for a few minutes. According to Chinese medicine, this will help energy run freely through your body.
