God will make a way

The good you do today people will often forget you tomorrow. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true friends. If you are kind, people may accuse you of being selfish and having ulterior motives. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Give the world the best you have, it may never enough give the best that you have. If you find serenity and happiness, they maybe jealous. And no matter our dreams unreachable and no matter we've been hurt by the people we love, and no matter how hard life is, GOD will always make a way. Good morning and Happy Monday!

Forget me not

Have you ever heard forget me not flower? I love flowers and I used to collect different kinds of flowers and my son is complaining every time I ask him to water the plants. One day my cousin visit me and she did mention the forget me not flower. Way back in my childhood days I remember this forget-me-not flower and I am a little bit curious because I used to picked this flowers in the field, as far as i remember it is a grass and they say it is forget-me-not flower.

I try to search this kind of flower and I found out that this forget me not flower is an Alaska State Flower. The flowers have five connected form petals, colored sky blue. They have a white inner ring and a yellow in center. The best time to see the forget-me-not is midsummer. Forget-me-not plants can be annual, in the sense that their life last for one year or it can be perennial, in the sense that their life namely, germination, flowering and death take more than two years.

Now I know forget-me-not flower they have a little bit similarity of the grass that I loved to pick during my childhood days. They are easy to grow, and the tiny true blue flowers with yellow in center are so lovely and blooming a hairy leaves and stem. Colors include blue, white and pink. One thing to know that forget-me-not symbolize true love and memories, Amazing isn’t it? Thanks to google!

Smart foods for healthy teeth

Candies, cakes. Cookies and many other sugary foods is usually children’s loves to eat and this will result in damaging their teeth. And also sugary foods have so many fats. The invisible germs that is called bacteria is going to stay in the mouth and mostly it forms as sticky material or plague in the surface of the teeth. Sugary foods were good but we have to know that this is not good also for our health. The damaging acids from every time we eat snacks that is abundant of sugar, and it will continue to damage our teeth.

Every time we eat sugary foods be sure that we clean or brush our teeth after eating using fluoride toothpaste.

Low fat choices such as raw vegetables, fresh fruits or wholegrain crackers or bread are good choices. This is to get rid tooth decay and other health problems.

Here are some fresh fruits and raw vegetables: berries, oranges, grapefruit, melons, pineapple, pears, tangerines, broccoli, celery, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, unsweetened fruits and vegetables juices, canned fruits in natural juices. Always remember avoid eating sugary foods between meals, eat different kinds of raw or non-fat food from basic groups, and always remind the kids to brush their teeth after meals.

Life of a Dh

I was in Lebanon for 10 years working as a domestic helper. I can't imagine how I made it for ten years. Working as DH is not easy, as I have to do all the responsibilities in the house. And it's not easy to get along with the employers and most of them were cruel. They are very particular in cleaning and very strict as well. There are times that I want to give up but I always think of my children future. I'm very thankful to God that despite of the hardship I never experienced of what some Filipina DH has been experiencing in the hands to their employers.
Just like this morning I read in the newspaper that a Filipina Dh in Dubai has been raped and maltreated by her Madam and back in Philippines without any single amount from her wallet because her employer did not give her salary for 1 year. How sad to think, I'm really feel sad to them. I hope that this is going to stop soon. Our government should take action regarding this case, this was happen so many times.

Theatre Church Conference

Since I became a Baptist and saved by the grace of God. I love going to church every Sunday to hear God’s word delivered by our pastor. Sometimes I was hit by the word of God but I accept because we are just human can commit sin all the time. But when you are saved believers you are safe in the hands of God. You belong to the family of God. I am happy because my kids are also with me though my daughter is married but still she attends church every Sunday. We usually meet in the church every Sunday and worship God in spirit and in truth.

I remember when I was in College I happened to attend Sunday service in theatre. Obviously many people were there and its great for you can meet new Christian people in other places. Well, I can say it has a lot of difference because when you are attending church services you know all the people around you because they are the members of the church. I’m comfortable in attending church services for I am used to it but if there are chances to attend service in theatre then I’ll grab it for it happens for sometimes.

I have good news to all who want to experience attending service in theatre. There is a first annual Theatre Church Conference in Silver Spring, MD, on October 22 and 23. This event will bring together respected leaders, pastors and also church leaders from the nation’s most innovative growing churches to discuss the future of theatre worship. Find out more at National CineMedia. Find out more of this info in their website if you are planning to attend the said event.

Benefits from milk

As the person grow older, they can encounter many problems of their health. Just like me I'm suffering back pain now a days because I remember during my childhood days, I'm not used to drink milk. Every time I drink milk I'm going to vomit. Besides building strong bones, it also the right ingredients for promoting dental health. Milk contains multiple proteins critical for oral health which prevents causing bacteria from sticking to the tooth surface, as well as antibacterials that promote oral health. Milk is a great drink for teeth. Along with brushing and flossing, drinking milk is an easy of maintaining a beautiful smile. Missing out on the strongest possible bones in childhood could haunt people decades later. By the age of 30, bones break down much faster than they are rebuilt. Then it is a race to maintain bone and avoid of osteoporosis in old age. So it is very important to get calcium as early as childhood especially calcium, from milk and milk products. With such a wealth of benefits, better to start your children into drinking milk for them to develop into healthy adults.I used to drink milk now but it's already too late (he he he).

Have you ever heard chaya tree? It’s not familiar to me this kind of tree and then one day my friend came to visit me and she gives me the branch of chaya tree. I plant it at my backyard and it grows without proper caring. I was just surprised when one day I’ve heard in radio that chaya is an herbal tree.

I try to surf this kind of plant in the net and I found out that chaya is primarily collected as a food plant; it has been used therapeutically for a number of ailments such as diabetes, arteriosclerosis, gallstones and high cholesterol. It is also believed that chaya cleans circulatory system, stimulates lactation, improves eyesight, strengthens nails, improve digestion. Now I know what chaya tree is.

Movie Theatre

As a Christian believer I never missed one Sunday in going to church. I love serving God, and reading His words made me comfortable in times I am in trouble. He is the best comforter of our life. As a single mother it is not easy to raise two children alone but God never leave me nor forsake me for by God’s grace my children were all professionals. Some people say that life of a Christian is boring but for me it’s never a boring. Yes, there is a trial, discouragement, shortcomings comes my way but God is always there for me. Our soul needs to be feed by His words to make us matured as a Christian.

I attended once a service in a movie theatre. I can’t remember anymore the preacher because that was five years ago. But he is a good preacher. Boldly he preaches the words of God and it was a standing ovation. Preachers who are anointed by the Holy Spirit are full of wisdom and the listeners can easily understands what the message of God can do to our daily lives, living as Christian believer. No difference at all whether in service theatre or in traditional church. The important is the message of God on how it was delivered by the messenger.

Find out more  in Theatre Church Conference in Silver Spring, they have the first-ever inaugural conference on October 22-23, 2008. This event will bring together the pastors, church leaders from the most growing churches to discuss the future of theatre worship. Find out more in their website for further information.
