Jatropha Curcas

Jatropha curcas which is commonly known as "tuba-tuba" are now being built to make available the needed Jatropha oil. The production of bio-diesel from Jatropha seeds is fairly similar to the production of bio-diesel from coconut oil, which is now commercially established product added (1 percent) to ordinary diesel fuel at the filling station. Sounds great isn't it?
This Jatropha can be found in many countries such as Philippines, Thailand, Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China, Japan, Africa, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Madagascar, Argentina, and Venezuela and among others. In Philippines it is very common in northern and southern parts from low and high elevations and in hot and cold climates.
The tree is not edible and will not compete with food crops, and it is not browsed by animals and it has an economic life of 35 years.

My old folks have so many beliefs when I was still in my teenage days. When I got my first menstruation period I directly informed my mother as she always told me if I have my first menstruation I should let her know. She was extremely happy and she told me to jump three stairs along the stairway and the purpose is the menstruation will only last in three days. I do it of course because they say Mother knows best!

Why your child's early friendship is important?

Parent's play the biggest role in setting the stage for full-fledged friendship, caring about others and responding to social cues. Parents are the first people who have give and take interactions with the child. This is the sort of stuff in which friendship is eventually made. Such interactions includes that once your children begin to have friends, parents should help them with new experiences. Seek out situations for kids to interact, rather than trying to find friends for them. Don't force them that friendship doesn't work. And help children work out a solution nonviolently. Teach them how to interact and negotiate.

Healthy "Bedtime Snacks"

One of the most considerable sedatives is the tryptophan. This is composed of amino acid that is rich of proteins that comes from the plants and animals. The trytophan is one of the ingredients that needs in our body to have serotonin. This is a neurotransmitter that make you calm and sleep.
One of the trick in this, is the food that we eat is full of trytophan with carbohydrates. The serotonin producing bedtime snaks should not be more than 200 calories, at least 30 minutes before going to sleep.

Bill Gates donates $500,000 for RP’s calamity

It is our common knowledge that Bill Gates was the microsoft founder and the world's third richest man in the world. One of the most influential people in the world, and has held the number one position for many years. I am very curious of his personality, overwhelmed of being very genius, so i start surfing about his whereabouts.
Being the richest man in the world he has also enabled to create one of the world's largest charitable foundations. Their aim is to innovating in health and learning to the global community. While i continue surfing i found out that the Philippines received $500,000 for typhoon relief efforts.
According to Michael Frank the United States-based Catholic Relief Services (CRS) the funds is estimated to P22.8 million pesos for energy assistance package for families left homeless and displaced calamity in Panay region and Cotabato City. It was posted in Global nation last Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 10:45 AM Philippine time.
I am just wondering why no news report was made to the public. I smell something fishy again! We must be thankful to the other nations helping us in times like this and let's face it, that this government is really corrupt! Nobody know's if the funds was really use in relief efforts or it was now in the good hands of our government officials. What a shame!

Back pain!

!There are many reasons why we suffer sometimes back pain. If the pain is always repeated and you suffer a severe cough and losing your weight , you might have problems in your lungs. And if the pain start in the lower part of your back, there might be a dislocation of your bones because you carry heavy things. Arthritis starts when you reach at the age of forty and also repeatedly aching at the back.
If we are suffering in this back pain it's better to consult the doctor immediately. The earlier the better, health is wealth and it is very important for us to take care of our health. What is money after all and our health is not stable, it's useless! Aspirin and hot compress can eliminates the pain, and i tried it so many times and it really works!

The hurtful moments

The most hurtful kind of lies are the ones delivered by the people you care about the most. It makes you doubt everything you know and makes you wonder why you care so much and worst of all. It puts you in the position of deciding whether to tell them you know that they're lying or act like you're too dull, even to know the difference. Keep this in mind the next time you lie to someone who cares about you, because more often than not, they know and it hurts a lot!

Information

Watching television is an entertainment and they can also bring us some information, depending upon the show. Watching news in television and listening news in radio, it was the media who first bring information to the public, and there are also some police officials monitoring some of the incidents and there are some also who does not care what's happening to their community.
I just want to have some comments regarding to our police officials. I am always watching television everyday and i can see the poor services of our police authority that in times there's complain and troubles they cannot quickly response. I think the PNP Chief Director General should do something about this to avoid discrepancy!

Poverty

Kidnapping in Mindanao has been a long time and until now the government was not able to solve the problems. According to Ces Drilon, the kidnappers was only twelve years and above and they are well armed. And this is a sign of poverty in this place where this group is hiding. Abu Sayaf or New People's Army is fighting against government because of poverty. Not only poverty but also some military officials were abusing some of the civilians wherein they provoke to join this group.
As long as the poverty remains in this place, the Abu Sayaf and other terrorist groups will still active and continued to destroy the life of the innocent Filipino people.

Don't looked back

Everybody's telling that I don't look like my age. My secret weapon is only that I don't look at the defeats that I get down. I don't look back at old conflicts that made me bitter. I don't look back at victories that may cost me to think that I won, and the most and foremost is that I don't look back the sins that have been forgiven.

This world that i'm living in, i nearly collapse my feet, and my sufferings, my body is almost to be broken till it's wracked my misery, He give me peace and light into the midst of storm.

Internet Access For Public Schools

It was then approved at the office of the Vice Mayor and with the participation of Ayala Foundation that public schools is going to have an internet connection. The program is known as "Gilas" (Gearing-up Internet Literacy Access for Students), as one of the project of Ayala Foundation together with our government units and Department of Education
This is to provide the high school student from public schools to have a connection in world-wide web or internet. Six million from the city and six million from Ayala Foundation.
And this is a good news among public schools and students, and besides of giving free units, the Ayala Foundation is going to give training jobs for technical support system administration and maintenance. I hope that this is not only the beginning nor the end that our government should focus the important needs of our public schools.

Money Talks!

As i have noticed that there are many complaints against our government in which they are involved in some illegal activities, and even some celebrities, and some influential personalities in our society, and that complaints was absolutely closed. This was happened so many times. Just take a look, the ZTE broadband deal, what a big amount was involved to those government officials! but no one was punished. Sometimes i keep asking myself that the Law here in Philippines is only for the poor.
Once the poor will commit mistakes against the law, they are quickly punished! because they don't have money for that under the table system, tsk tsk! what a shame! Really money is the root of evil!
