Internet Access For Public Schools

It was then approved at the office of the Vice Mayor and with the participation of Ayala Foundation that public schools is going to have an internet connection. The program is known as "Gilas" (Gearing-up Internet Literacy Access for Students), as one of the project of Ayala Foundation together with our government units and Department of Education
This is to provide the high school student from public schools to have a connection in world-wide web or internet. Six million from the city and six million from Ayala Foundation.
And this is a good news among public schools and students, and besides of giving free units, the Ayala Foundation is going to give training jobs for technical support system administration and maintenance. I hope that this is not only the beginning nor the end that our government should focus the important needs of our public schools.
