Child Labor

Every child has the right to the most basic of necessities in life like a healthy environment, formal education, and most importantly, a loving family to come home to. Yet, poverty hinders the child to any of these things and forces to work in any kind of job which is not fit to their age.
The Department of Education has been signing an agreement regarding World Vision Development Foundation (WVDF) This program is to implement strong foundation to send back the children to school, where many children prefer to work than going to school, and it is estimated to 800,000 children in Philippines working and they are only paid 40 t0 50 pesos a day, and they don't have choice because they are very poor.
With this ABK2 Iniative or "Pag-aaral ng mga Bata para sa Kinabukasan." The DepEd and WVDF were joining together to initate public awareness campaign so that child labor eliminates and provoking children to attend their classes. The children are supposed to be in school and not in on the streets or in sweatshops working in horrible conditions.
This is not only to provides education for children who are out in school, it is also addresses the quality of education for children. I hope that this can be a big help to the children, and both the National and Local government have a big role to solve this problem.

It"s LORD'S Day

It"s Sunday again, and if this day comes, as a Christian believer I always considered this day as a very special day for our dear Lord Jesus Christ. I love serving Him. Happy Sunday to everyone!

When you feel tired and alone, just tell me. Eventhough my hands can't hold you, my feet may not be able to run to you, my voice may not reach you, but my knees are always here to pray for you!

Happy talkie, talkie ... Visual Talking

"What the heck are you saying?" Ever heard that before? Maybe Visual Talking can help. It's like the Twitter of PowerPoint presentations. Combine words and pictures to communicate -- it's that simple.

In your user question please consider asking something about a current event and how/if VT would apply, e.g., "Should the Olympic athletes use VT to help communicate?" or "Now that Britney has her bod back, should we send her VT messages to get her to quit smoking?" or "Should Homeland security include VT as part of their interagency communications package?"

Expressing my gratitude!

There are times that we are weak and discourage. I think it is normal for us as long as we still exist in this world. As a single mother to my children I always encounter problems especially financial problems. I strive hard for the sake of my children. And I am very thankful to God because He is always there for me in times I feel down and discourage. He is my comforter. And also to my family who are very supportive, and my children around me and I am glad that they are God fearing children. I don't have any regret at all being a single mom to them. People say that I’m strong enough because I am numb to any pain. Actually it is just my special technique, and what they don’t know is that I had to break my heart a million times just to master it!

Thank you Lord for being here with me always. And to my family, friends, and to my children that whenever I need them they are always there for me. Thanks in so many ways!
