Aspirin

Aspirin is not just for your heart but also a small daily dose may also prevent stroke and other serious health threats. Despite its popularity, aspirin is not always harmless. Aspirin helps prevent clumping of blood platelets, thus reducing the risk of blood clots.
Aspirin is also a lifesaver during heart attacks. Studies show that as little as one-tenth of an aspirin tablet a day could prevent many of the deaths and disabilities caused by the most common type of stroke, called cerebral thrombosis. Cerebral thrombosis is blockage of an artery in the brain by a blood clot.
